Bible Reading: Mark 3:1-12
Key Verse: Verse 8 - “And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him."
Key Words: what Great things he did
We tend to throw the word greatness around a lot. For example: he is a great preacher, they are a great singer, she is a great seamstress, they are a great teacher.
Not taking anything away from people, but may I share with you true greatness.
He began His ministry by being hungry, yet He is the Bread of Life.
Jesus ended His earthly ministry by being thirsty, yet He is the Living Water.
Jesus was weary, yet He is our rest. Jesus paid tribute, het He is the King.
Jesus was accused of having a demon, yet He cast out demons.
Jesus wept, yet He wipes away our tears.
Jesus was sold for thirty pieces of silver, yet he redeemed the world.
Jesus was brought as a lamb to the slaughter, yet He is the Good Shepherd.
Jesus died, yet by His death He destroyed the power of death.
Now that my friend is "GREATNESS".
