God’s Word is clear and easily understood when it comes to marriage. Marriage is between one man and one woman.
I realize that our Bible reading for today is dealing with divorce, but at the same time it makes it clear in marriage: what God joins together…(verse 2) man and wife (feminine for woman)…(verse 6) male and female…(verse 7) man and wife…(verse 8) and they twain (man and woman).
Today same sex unions and marriage are being shoved down our throats. For example, in a recent J. C. Penney ad you find two women with arms embraced around each other, and the ad reads, “You’ll often find Wendi, her partner, Maggie, and daughters elbow deep in paint, clay, or mosaics.”
The movie and television media industry are promoting the homosexual lifestyle, and those of us who stand in opposition to this lifestyle are seen as right-wing fundamentalist religious bigots. I am not a bigot, but I am a Biblicist. How about you?
