Daily Devotion: Integrity

Bible Reading: Proverbs 20-1:9

Key Verse: Verse 7 – "The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

Key Words: The just man walketh in his integrity

Is it just me or does it seem as though our government is lacking in the area of integrity? President Biden just required that on all government property masks must be worn. He also has put travel restrictions on international and some domestic travel because of Covid. But yet still he has opened up our borders to illegal immigrants who are not held to any “travel ban.” They came across our border wearing no mask, and the list could go on and on.

A government which operates with no integrity can never solve our national problems; as a matter of fact, at that point the government is the problem.

The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without it, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army, or in an office. If a man’s associates find him guilty of phoniness, if they find that he lacks forthright integrity, he will fail. His teachings and actions must agree with each other.”

~ Dwight D. Eisenhower

What to do:

He who has no integrity is a problem.
